Updated January 13, 2026

The parties to this Agreement, Conference Ticket Holder “Attendee” and Evidence Based Birth, Inc (“EBB”), a Kentucky C-Corp, enter this Agreement as of the date that the Attendee purchases a ticket to the 2026 Evidence Based Birth® Virtual Conference (EBB Conference).

Background

EBB publishes educational and informational videos and materials that discuss evidence based medical research on pregnancy and childbirth. EBB has developed a 2-Day Virtual EBB Conference. The conference sessions on March 17 and 18, 2026, will be focused on content for birth workers and health care workers.

Day 1 Tickets include access to live conference sessions on Tuesday, March 17, recorded conference videos for Day 1 (“Replays”), and materials for taking notes (“Conference Handouts”) for conference sessions.

Day 2 Tickets include access to live conference sessions on Wednesday, March 18, recorded conference videos for Day 2 (“Replays”), and materials for taking notes (“Conference Handouts”) for conference sessions.

Bundle Tickets include access to live conference sessions on Tuesday, March 17 and Wednesday, March 18, recorded conference videos for both days (“Replays”), and materials for taking notes (“Conference Handouts”) for conference sessions.

Attendees will be able to complete steps to obtain up to 11 hours of contact hour certificates for completed sessions (5 hours for Day 1 Ticket holders; 6 hours for Day 2 Ticket holders; and 11 hours for Bundle Ticket holders). Attendees will be given a link to create a login at EBB’s designated website for the EBB Conference (“EBB Conference Website”) where the Replays, Conference Handouts, and quizzes to earn contact hour certificates can be accessed. Access to Replays will expire on May 30, 2026.

All Attendees will also be invited to a meet-and-greet session on Monday, March 16, and a 1-hour group debriefing session on Thursday, March 19.

Term

This Agreement shall commence on the Date that the Attendee purchases a ticket and expires on May 30, 2026, for all ticket holders.

Attendee must attend live or watch recordings of conference presentations and pass a quiz on the presentation in order to be eligible for contact hours for the conference. Nursing contact hour certificates will be given once an evaluation survey has been completed and a quiz has been completed with a passing score.

Access to the EBB Conference Website will expire on May 30, 2026. Attendees must download and/or print contact hour certificates and Conference Handouts prior to their access expiring. There will be no extensions given. It is the Attendee’s responsibility to save their own contact hour certificates.

Registration Process

EBB Conference registrations will be considered confirmed once correct payment is received and the Attendee has completed the registration form. Upon completing payment and registration, the Attendee will be able to login to the EBB Conference Website.

The Attendee is responsible for providing EBB with the correct email address during the registration process. If the Attendee deletes their email address or unsubscribes from EBB emails, they will not receive the Conference updates or links to login to Conference sessions.

Cancellation Policy

There are no refunds for the EBB Conference. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Speakers and conference session topics are subject to change at EBB’s discretion. If a scheduled conference session is cancelled or postponed, EBB will notify Attendees of the rescheduled date or replacement speaker.

Participation and Behavior

Conference Attendees are expected to show kindness and respect to others while at the EBB Conference. Use of abusive, racist, homophobic, or transphobic language, or threatening behavior directed to any other conference attendee or EBB Team Member is not conducive to a learning environment and will result in immediate removal and banning from the conference without refund.

EBB will record live conference sessions on March 17 and 18. Conference Attendees are not permitted to audio-record or video-record the EBB Conference. Attendees are also not permitted to have an AI note-taking chatbot attend the Conference.

Attendees will follow EBB’s instructions and guidelines for the chatroom. Attendees will not share marketing materials or outside links in the chat during live EBB Conference events.

Conference Access

EBB may, at its sole discretion, elect to refuse your request to become an Attendee; or, once access is granted, cancel, suspend, terminate, or restrict your Attendance at any time.

EBB is not obliged to give reasons for any decision it makes to suspend, terminate, or restrict your Attendance or to reject your request to become an Attendee. Each Attendee will follow and adhere to this agreement in whole or immediately forfeit all rights as an Attendee, and in such event, EBB may terminate Attendee’s access to the EBB Conference and EBB Conference Website, in its discretion.

Attendees will only be able to access the Conference Website with use of their original username (email address) and password. Attendees cannot change their username. Attendees may change or reset their password if needed.

You are responsible for each and every access or use of the Conference Website that occurs in conjunction with use of your username and password. Use of your username and password is conclusive evidence that you have accessed the Conference Website. You must use all reasonable efforts to keep your username and password confidential.

You must not allow any third party to access the EBB Conference or Website using your username and password. You must notify EBB in writing as soon as you become aware of any unauthorized use of your Conference Attendee identity, username, or password.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold EBB, its owners, directors, managers, employees, affiliates and suppliers, harmless from any and all liability, loss, claim, cause of action, and expense (including reasonable attorney’s fees) related to this Agreement, including but not limited to, your use of any content from the Conference materials (including Recordings, live sessions, Q & A, or Conference Handouts), including any claim or demand, made by any third party due to or arising directly or indirectly out of your conduct or in connection with your use of EBB Conference materials of any kind or the EBB Conference Website.
