Frequently Asked Questions

When will the conference take place?

The conference will take place online over two days– Friday, March 22, 2024 (Birthworker-focus Day) and Saturday, March 23, 2024 (Parent-focus Day). You can purchase a ticket for one day or both days!

How much will it cost to register?

Regular pricing (last day to purchase a ticket is March 13)

  • Birth Worker Day on March 22 = $297
  • Parent Day on March 23 = $149
  • Combo Ticket for both days = $399

Will the conference be recorded?

Yes! Both conference days will be recorded. 

How long will I have access to the recordings?

All access to the EBB Conference Website will expire on June 30, 2024. If you register for the Birth Worker day, you must download and/or print contact hour certificates prior to June 30, 2024. There will be no extensions given. It is the your responsibility to save your own contact hour certificates.

Can I earn contact hours?

If you purchase a 1-day ticket to the Birth Worker Day, or a 2-day ticket that includes access to the Birth Worker Day, then you will be able to complete steps to obtain 6 hours worth of contact hour certificates. Attendee must attend live or watch recordings of conference presentations to be eligible to obtain contact hours for the Birth Worker Day.

Evidence Based Birth® is an approved continuing education provider for the Kentucky Board of Nursing. Nursing contact hour certificates will be given once an evaluation survey has been completed and the quiz has been completed with a passing score. Nursing contact hours are accepted for the Certified Professional Midwife credential, and most doula and childbirth educator organizations accept nursing contact hours. 

Can my family attend with me?

If you purchase a ticket to the Parents Day and you have given birth or plan to be giving birth, and would like your loved one(s) who is supporting your birth to attend the Parents Day with you (such as a family member, significant other, or friend who is supporting your pregnancy and/or birth), then you are invited to bring your loved one(s) with you to attend the Parents Day.

What is the refund/transfer policy?

There will be no refunds and no ticket transfers permitted. See the conference terms and conditions here

Is there equity pricing?

A limited number of tickets will be available at a reduced rate. In order to apply for the equity pricing, please fill out this form by February 23 at 5 PM EDT. Decision emails will be sent between February 15 and February 29. 

Is there group pricing?

Groups of 10 or more can receive a 10% discount if the tickets are purchased all at once via digital invoice. To arrange for your group to access the group rate, please email info@evidencebasedbirth.com by Friday, February 23 at 5 PM EST.
