Although Evidence Based Birth has more than 6,400 followers on Facebook, we can no longer rely solely on Facebook to provide loyal readers with information about Evidence Based Birth articles and news. The details about Facebook’s secret algorithm are not publicly known, but reports from respectable media outlets have led me to believe that Facebook is probaby “suppressing” posts about Evidence Based Birth articles and news, in order to entice me to pay a significant amount of money to promote these posts.
I will continue to post updates and links to Evidence Based Birth articles on Facebook, but I have also decided to start an official newsletter that will be distributed monthly or every other month, and on special occasions (such as the release of a new blog article). In a special deal for you– if you subscribe to the newsletter, you will be given access to a password-protected article entitled “American Obstetric Care in the 1950′s.” This blog article– written while I was researching 1950′s obstetrical journals– will only be available to newsletter subscribers. You will also get access to our free printable handouts!
To sign up for the free Evidence Based Birth newsletter, fill out the form below. In your confirmation email you will receive a link to the special article, along with the password to open the article.
